Gallop Bookmakers was formed in November 2005 by Beverley Wilkes & Debbie French. The two Directors have always had a keen interest in Horses and this is why the business really took off!
They both started by working part time for a large Independant Bookmaker and soon worked their way up the ladder to become Betting shop Managers.
In 2004 they decided to leave work and have a go at setting up a Betting shop of their own. This happened and they were very successful indeed! By 2007 they had 2 shops and a very large number of Telebetting client’s.
In June 2009 the shop side of the Business was sold to a large Bookmaker which left Beverley & Debbie to continue running the Telephone Betting which they very much enjoy.
www.betgallop.co.uk is the brand new Website designed by them. Moving with the times, this is an area which the girls are confident will expand the Company’s ever growing client base. They are looking forward to the future and the exciting prospects it may hold.
